FIFA Women's World Cup - Domestic and International Activations from Thu 20 July

The FIFA Women’s World Cup is one of the biggest events that will hit Australia and New Zealand and with so many
fans travelling through Brisbane Airport, it presents a great opportunity for Brisbane Airport Corporation to connect with the community.

Domestic Terminal Activation Details

Activation name: The Clubhouse
Dates: Thursday 20th July – Sunday 20th August
Opening hours: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Qantas terminal area, near Gate 24 (opposite The Common)

Activation includes:
• Free football VR Game, with daily prizes for “high scorers”
• Free prizes and giveaways for kids, including BNE branded mini footballs.
• Free kids craft and activity books (FIFA WWC branded)
• Data acquisition campaign Promo Staff: 1 x promo staff member will be at The Clubhouse during opening hours.


International Terminal Activation Details

Dates: Wednesday 5th – Sunday 20th August
Opening hours: 6am – 11am
Location: The Village Green, Level 3, after security

Activation includes:
• “Mini pitch” on half of the Village Green, with football goals and soft balls for kids to kick. The area will be fully fenced.
• Large TV screen streaming playing the FIFA games via the Optus Sport app. Streaming optus sport 24/7.
• Free prizes and giveaways for kids, including BNE branded mini footballs.
• Free kids craft and activity books (FIFA WWC branded)
• Data acquisition campaign Promo Staff: 2 x promo staff member will be at The Clubhouse during opening hours

Thursday 3 August - Power Interruptions at the International Terminal

Brisbane Airport will be undertaking maintenance works of both the Essential & Non-Essential power systems within the International Terminal on Thursday 3 August 2023, between the hours of 3:00pm and 3:30pm.There will be a 30-minute disruption for both systems, following a short duration the Essential power system will return).

A critical issue on the Essential Power circuit has been found that that requires urgent repairs.  These repairs will take place from 4:00am Friday 21 July.  For more information, please refer to the notice below.
