Virgin Australia Family Day - Skygate Traffic Arrangements

Virgin Australia will be holding their Family Day event on Saturday 8 July 2023, between the hours of 9:30AM to 11:30AM and 12:30PM to 2:30PM.

The event itself will be held at the Virgin Australia Hangar on Pandanus Ave.

 

There will be noticeably increased patronage within the Skygate Precinct, with attendees making use of the Skygate Multilevel Car Park.

 

Transfer Buses will take attendees who have parked at Skygate, to the event at the Virgin Australia Hangar.  Buses will be staged along the rear of The Circuit, as well as along 9th Avenue, behind the Woolworths/Skygate Mall and Brisbane Airport Corporation Headquarters.  Because of this, there will be a partial road closure in this area during the day.

 

Traffic Controllers will be onsite to ensure traffic is kept flowing with minimal disruption.
