The International Terminal will undergo a major upgrade, slated for completion by 2026. This makeover includes expanding retail and dining options, enhancing duty-free shopping, and upgrading facilities for a better passenger experience. Installing advanced screening equipment is crucial for security compliance, allowing more items in carry-on bags and a smoother check-in process. In early November 2023, hoarding and frosting will be installed for preliminary work, remaining in place for 12 months after the works are completed. 

Please note a separate notice will be issued for frosting installation.

International Terminal - Emirates Lounge Refurbishment - 30 October 2023

The Emirates Lounge is presently undergoing a refurbishment, which encompasses various cosmetic enhancements, the addition of a new prayer room, the installation of new furniture throughout the space, and substantial improvements to the lounge's air conditioning system. This notice covers works on Wednesday, November 1st, and Wednesday, November 8th.

International Terminal - Rooftop Solar Project -31 October 2023

As part of our sustainability strategy at BAC, we are installing additional solar panels across three locations at the international terminal. The project's next phase is the installation of approximately 1,200 Solar PV modules on the Northern Concourse (NCC) – Level 3 roof between gates 75 to 79. For further information please refer to the below Stakeholder Notice.
