Changes to DTB Staff Parking from 5 May 2026
It’s no secret that significant development is underway across the Domestic Terminal precinct — and this means changes to how BNE workers park.
What’s changing?
From 5 May 2026, changes will be made to DTB Staff Parking (refer to map).DTB Staff Car Park B will close, and DTB Staff Car Park A will be reconfigured to support priority parking and terminal contractors.
As a result, most BNE workers currently parking in the DTB staff car parks will transition to the Central Parking Area (CPA) and use the staff shuttle service to travel to and from the terminals.
The updated layout is shown in the image and will be as follows:
- Blue Section: Priority Staff Parking (approved operational roles only)
- Yellow Section: Approved Terminal Contractors Only
- Red Section: Closed to all workers
CPA–DTB Shuttle Service to Commence from 1 May 2026. Please note that the shuttle service will not operate prior to this date.
Why the Change?
These changes will enable terminal expansion and critical infrastructure works, such as apron expansion, terminal upgrade and future infrastructure development.

CPA is located within the airport precinct and is clearly signposted as Central Parking Area – Staff Parking- view the map here.
