Key System at Changing Places Bathroom Facilities - Keys Now available at Visitor Information Centres

To ensure the accessible Changing Places bathroom facilities in our International and Domestic Terminals are only used by those with a genuine need, we have updated them with a Master Locksmiths Access Keys (MLAK) system.

MLAK systems use a universal lock and key, which can be borrowed from the Brisbane Airport Administration Offices (Level 2 of the Domestic Terminal, or Level 3 of the International Terminal) or Visitor Information Centres. These keys are also available to order through Access Ability Australia. 

Key holders now include: BAC – Reception/ADM; Visitor Information Centres; Security Landside Foot Patrol.

Finding a Changing Places facility:

  • Domestic Terminal: Located on the ground floor opposite Trader & Co Cafe

  • International Terminal: Located on Level 4 behind the Flight Centre store.

Domestic Terminal - Northern Loading Dock Electrical Works

On Wednesday 24 May a BAC contractor will be performing a switchboard isolation at the Northern Loading Dock area. This isolation will commence from 21:00 and last approximately four hours. During this time lighting will be limited and power will be unavailable to surrounding outlets.

Domestic Terminal - Emergency Light Testing

On 31 May, Brisbane Airport Corporation will be conducting testing and maintenance to the emergency lighting system in the Domestic Terminal. The test itself involves the discharge of the emergency lighting batteries over a 2-hour period. During this time, additional lighting will be present and no impact to any power or lighting will occur.
