Brisbane Airport advises that the upgraded Northern Security Screening Point within the Domestic Terminal Building will be operational Tuesday 28 October 2025.

The reopening of this screening point marks an important milestone in Brisbane Airport’s transition to Standard 3 security screening technology and the ongoing transformation of the Domestic Terminal. The transition is being delivered through a staged approach to minimise disruption for passengers and airlines while ensuring a smooth changeover in a live terminal environment.
