17 September 2024: DTB SUP - Southern Loading Dock Exit - Auto Door Operator Installation

Forming part of the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade Project, the entire existing southern loading dock goods screening point will become a sterile space and require secured doors to maintain its security integrity.

To assist staff and tenants exiting with goods, trolleys and rubbish bins the double doors designating the sterile/landside exit point will be upgraded to an auto-opening door.

As part of the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade Project, the current southern goods lift will undergo a mechanical upgrade and undergo a refurb to make it suitable for passengers and DDA compliant for passengers with reduced mobility to access Level 2 departures.This upgrade requires the lift to be shut down for these maintenance/upgrade works to occur.For further information please refer to the
