12 August: Carpark 2 Extension Project (P2X) - Dewatering

To prepare for the start of construction of inground footings on-site, the team will begin dewatering on Monday 26 August 2024. Dewatering involves removing groundwater that can seep into the excavation holes prior to the construction of the reinforced concrete footings. Given the proximity to tidal influences from the adjacent creek/swales this is an important process that allows the works to proceed unhindered by excess water.

26 August 2024: DTB SUP - Temporary Southern Security Screening Point Establishment

As part of the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade Project, and the installation of the Temporary Southern Security Screening Point, internal steel and hoarding walls are scheduled to be installed inside the terminal, level 1 at the base of the southern pass back near Carousel 7.For further information please refer to the below Stakeholder Notice.

28 August 2024: DTB SUP - Northern Loading Dock Ramp Alterations

As part of the Domestic Terminal Security Upgrade Project, and the installation of the Temporary Northern Security Screening Point, works to the existing northern loading dock are required to be carried out.
