Domestic Terminal Baggage Makeup Area - Works Update - 21 February 2024

The Baggage Security Upgrade Project is currently in progress at the DTB, focusing on baggage handling. The project involves migrating the DTB North (Qantas) High-Level Controls. Programming and factory acceptance activities began in September 2023, followed by onsite deployment and testing that commenced in January 2024. Site acceptance testing is currently in the final stages of completion.

UPDATED - ITB SRUP - Water Feature Removal - 19 February 2024

BAC has initiated ITB SRUP to comply with Standard 3 requirements for screening equipment. As part of this project, the Main Security Screening Point (MSSP) will be moved from Level 3 to Level 4 to accommodate larger equipment, creating extra retail space on Level 3.

DTB SUP - Works Update - 22 February 2024

As part of the Domestic Terminal Building (DTB) Security Upgrade project, hoardings to Level 2 in the satellite need to be installed commencing the 10th of March. The expected duration of the installation is 2-3 weeks due to the staged approach.For further information please refer to the below Stakeholder Notice.
