This project aims to enhance the high-voltage (HV) infrastructure by establishing a new communication distribution facility at the Airport Intake Substation (AIS). The primary objective is to expand the existing AIS switchboard to bolster capacity for supporting precinct developments and improving network reliability.

UPDATED - ITB SRUP - Water Feature Removal - 19 February 2024

BAC has initiated ITB SRUP to comply with Standard 3 requirements for screening equipment. As part of this project, the Main Security Screening Point (MSSP) will be moved from Level 3 to Level 4 to accommodate larger equipment, creating extra retail space on Level 3.
