BNE Community Survey Results & Next Steps

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent BNE Community survey!

We launched the survey to mark the one-year anniversary of BNE Community and better understand how our airport community uses the site, what’s working for them, and what could be improved. While BNE Community has had a great first year—with strong growth, good use of its news feature, and more—there is always room for improvement.

Results

On that note, we received some great feedback on 9 questions. For instance:

  • 80% of respondents noted they visit BNE Community daily or weekly.
  • 64% of respondents noted they view BNE Community primarily on desktop.
  • Top uses of BNE Community (in order) include: news and announcements, operational updates, offers and promotions, finding documents and resources.
  • An average 7.2 out of 10 rating for how easy it is to find information.
  • And we received great feedback on how we could improve BNE Community. This included:
    • Improve the staff offers (known as BNE Offers) – make it easy to add offers, communicate offers (on the Live Feed, via email), display offers
    • Implement improvements to the app – fixing glitches, improving load time
    • Continuously review the layout and user interface for improvements

Next Steps

In 2024, we will continue to look at how we can improve BNE Community, addressing the survey feedback through changes to the site, new initiatives, and making feature requests where possible. For instance, as the survey results show, we know there is an active community that checks in often. This means there is a strong demand for regular, engaging content and key resources.

We will also look at how we can better target the airport workers who do not have access to a desktop computer, through a more engaging mobile experience. In addition, we will explore better ways to communicate staff offers, promoting the many deals from our partners. And much more.

We will continue to grow and improve BNE Community, and we appreciate your support and engagement as we build a hub for our vibrant airport team.
