Planned Controlled Burn - Moreton Island (29 Jul-5 Aug)

The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) conducts planned burns on parks and forests to support a healthy environment and reduce the risk and intensity of bushfires. 

QPWS will conduct planned burns on Mulgumpin between 29th July and 5th August, weather permitting. 

As a result of the planned burns, smoke may be seen in nearby areas.
